Yes, you read that right.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare saw the COD franchise return to a more gritty, realistic shooter experience, which was full to the brim with contemporary weapons like the SIG MCX assault rifle, the DP-12 shotgun, and the Russian ASh 12.7 battle rifle.
In the above video, Jonathan Ferguson, a weapons expert and Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries, breaks down the weapons of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, including the Dragunov sniper rifle, the Uzi submachine gun, and silenced versions of the Colt 1911 and the Desert Eagle. • CHECK OUT: Firearms Expert Reacts To Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Guns ar-one.info/down/hKCsjq15ZaOulbY/fydyw.html

  • 1:00 actually there are guys that specially make suppressors out of these things, they are cheap as heck and reduce the noise level below that of a trigger pull, when the guy was shooting a rifle all i heard were trigger pulling sounds as if he didn't load the gun, and then the pang pang sounds of his targets 50m away being hit.

  • Do 1 with him and rainbow six siege

  • i wanna see this guy play tarkov..

  • Some of these campaign clips I don’t recognize at from the campaign ?! 😨🤔

  • I would love to see him do rainbow 6 siege weapons. The game mechanics are amazing and so are the weapons.

  • I love how in the UK you need some gun from a Weapon's Museum to tell everyone about guns, when in the US some random guy in Texas can tell you as much or more. Murica

  • M13

  • If the T is wearing body armour, ....this thing is going to bypass that. So eloquently put.

  • This is the real life guy that sells John Wick his weapons. They allowed his likeness to be played in the movie.

  • Love how they put the fps russia source. He doesn't make any money anymore his channel is completely demonitized.

  • There's a tom Clancy book that tells you how to make a suppressor from an oil filter, but it takes machining skills and equipment. Won't tell you which one though.

  • How’d he miss pointing out that the M14 in the game is the more modern EBR version and not the original wood furnished one? I know many people would already know but if he can name the more real world counterparts more specifically why not again with the M14?

  • haleypham

  • Pausing.... lol

  • why didn't they pick up any of us Americans

  • An he tell of why body’s fly around the map

  • I like you UK guys have to ask a "weapons expert" while over here in the US we just own these guns lol 🤣

  • This dude is so cautious with his words lol

  • Do suppressor's as quite as the movies exist at all in real life for special forces etc?

  • So in the campaign it says the HDR is a .338 Laupua but in Multiplayer it claims that it is a 12.7x108 which is actually larger than a .50 BMG. Also out performs it as proof. Interesting little slip up from the game

  • The busy adjustment demographically store because thumb puzzlingly peep abaft a toothsome chef. lucky, magnificent cuban

  • Guns? Guns! Guns.

  • It makes it so much better that he understands the game ,and has played it

  • Hadir, the guy who made the HDR is from iraq (urkistan is iraq)

  • As soon as he said "the grenade launcher should use the weapons optics rather than an on screen hip sight" i almost cried.. the benefits and balance for using the optics: players would rely more on AOE then trying to get a headshot with grenade launcher and running, sliding and doing backflips while shooting the grenade launcher would be a no go.. REVOLUTIONARY. (1)Limited sight. (2) relying on a grenade blast rather than headshot grenades due to having a limited sight when aiming with the optics.

  • Somebody get this man some snapcaps for that 203. For heavens sake.

  • Mans really said medium range is out to 800 meters.

  • Thanks it was cool

  • turn from your sins and believe in LORD JESUS CHRIST and be baptized in THE NAME of THE FATHER THE SON and THE HOLY SPIRIT( if you haven’t already before CHRIST comes back or before you die

  • With an Uzi you don’t need to aim

  • 50. cal assault rifle i my it shud be way more op in the game

  • I never knew you had to shoot a guy 25 times with the lmg then put four shotguns round in his head from 10 feet away all jus to get homie to 10hp...until I played fucking rebirth island

  • The kilo 141 is actually based off the hk 443 not the mcx. Although they are next to identically look wise the difference being the 443 is a lot less customisable.

  • One thing I really like about Mr. Ferguson review is that he played the games and enjoyed both world.

  • The handheld mini gun is a thing.

  • I would not want to rob Jonathan

  • I'm sure everyone in comments are Americans

  • You, sir have earned a like and a sub from me. I would however like to see your opinion of the mk-14 from mw3.

  • Is the British Sig supposed to be the m13 in the game?

  • Kinda disappointed he didn’t mention the short stroke gas piston system of the MCX.

  • Found my dream job....

  • @gamespot react to the guns in the game call SQUAD

  • The guy's FLEXING his guns! 😎

  • Should do the Halo guns

  • Is that a pkm behind him on table? An LMG chambered in 7.62×54R! In one word, DEVESTATING! Same gigantic cartridge as mossin nagant. Was hoping to see that.

  • I don't think the dude was referring to actually making the 338 Lapua rifle himself as in a CNC lathe and creating a barrel from Steel stock etc.. I think what he is supposed to mean is that he kind of made a personal selection of custom parts and put them all together to make a custom race gun. that's the way I take it because that's how I build my Glocks

  • no wonder at the firing range you still wear ear plug or hearing protection even your in suppressor -.-

  • Lies, Britain doesn’t have guns (kidding obviously, a joke about their strict gun laws).

  • I love how there's a pkm on the table lol

  • 10:25 someone's never heard of the M1a SOCOM, which is a modern cqb-geared M1a which would suit a 1x holographic sight just fine.

  • 3:41 he's never heard of .50 Beowulf, apparently.

  • Heavy: "I am Heavy Weapons Guy... and this [grabs Minigun] is my weapon. [lays both hands covetously on Minigun] She weighs one hundred fifty kilograms and fires two hundred dollar, custom-tooled cartridges at ten thousand rounds per minute. [looks intently at viewer] It costs four hundred thousand dollars to fire this weapon...for twelve seconds."

  • He shold react to r6 siege

  • Woo! The C8!

  • I want to point out that a 45 caliber firearm of almost any type because it's running the 45 caliber ammunition 45 caliber ammunition is almost heavy enough by itself without a suppressor to be almost naturally subsonic so if and that's a giant if you were able to thread on an oil filter suppressor to a 45 caliber firearm it would in fact be savagely effective I say this as a person who has owned who owns and who intends to own in the future 45 caliber firearms and I have tested the oil filter suppressor effectiveness

  • Get him to react to Counter Strike: Global Offensive

  • Right off the bat, the guy doesn't really know what he's talking about. A car oil filter makes an incredible sound suppressor - for about 20 shots. At that point, the internal cardboard filter tears completely apart and blows backwards at you through the oil return holes. Utilizing a used filter, the "silencer" will blow oil all over you upon firing the first shot. It will be very effective though. You will need an adapter to thread from the barrel threads to the very large filter threads.

  • Insurgency Sandstorm would be fun to react to I think!

  • Would love be to see this guy react to some Destiny 2 guns and compare them to some real life weapons.

  • i mean he is the expert, but, there a super quiet configuration if you shoot subsonic i mean m1 modernized with subsonic ammo si plausible but it will not be super quiet like in the game, quiet still..

  • cod is the eminem of fps games

  • How do I get a job similar to this man sign me up I need a minigun

  • We need an r6 video

  • I can't remember what game it was, but it was a few years back. They had a mission to infiltrate a facility, and they used a .22 caliber pistol, with a suppressor that was a good 8 or 9 inches long. That was the most accurate depiction of a suppressed firearm I've ever seen in games or films. ...I want one. 😏

  • Good. Enjoyed that! Thx

  • Do an original black ops video pleeeeeeeeeeese

  • i wish hed show the rl guns more often

  • ITS MAKAROV

  • What? In the UK? Isn’t that illegal or something?

  • People can have guns in Britain ?

    • @SarethZhukov314 In the uk they are allowed to have airsoft guns and replica guns without license to my knowledge . Deactivated guns . They can have most types of guns but with heavy restrictions . Anyway I meant the first comment sarcastically. Have a good day buddy . SEMPER FIDELIS

    • @Younes Zreika United States

    • @SarethZhukov314 Where are you from ?

    • He's a collector. I think people can have guns but they're pretty limited in their selection and types of weapon systems.

  • cool.

  • Please do Rainbow six siege!!!!!

  • Assault rifle ... alright

  • Can Jonathon do a retro review of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory?

  • Expert in the knowledge and understanding of firearms, yes. Very different from an expert in practical practice.

  • No British person is a fire arms expert only in Russia and America will there be a real fire arms expert

    • Why Russia? Most firearms aren't even legal there. Also, you can be British and still be a weapons expert lol. I'm pretty sure SAS operatives and British gun smiths working for the military and police force know more about firearms than you or I. As an American I know a fair bit, and own several myself. We know more than the average British civilian, sure.

  • U should have him react to squad the game

  • Immensely entertaining, I hope to see you critique more video games n such

  • Bypass it to god yeah aha

  • You can learn everything from this one guy

  • Have him take a look at the guns of apex legends

  • Hold up isn’t the HDR chambered in 12,7x108????

  • Oil filter supresors work amazing minimal suppression my ass theres a night and day dofrence shooting my 10mm and .45

  • I would really love to see him review Squad

  • Why am I imagining this man as the guy who showcases john wick his guns????? I cant be the only one

  • I've seen some tests of the oil filter suppressors and depending on the filter used they can be almost as effective as purpose-built ones. But you're right that there aren't any common guns with barrel threads that match common filters, so you need an adapter. And they do tend to burst after some number of shots. Also, if you just yanked a filter off a vehicle it would be full of dirty oil that would tend to leak all over your gun. That's probably not ideal either.

  • I clicked on thinking it was warzone bro I’ve had to many cones

  • He lost all his credibility when he said assault rifle.

  • K98K’s are a good weapon for small fighters in the Middle East, they’re cheap and you can get numbers.

  • Your asking a man who’s never served in the military about firearms.

    • To be honest a lot of soldiers in the military still don't know shit about firearms. Just look at the "Army general" CNN interviewed about AR-15s.

    • Yes, we should get the opinion of a guy who has served with an M4 for 10 years to comment on obscure Russian weapons and an Uzi. No, thats silly, Jonathan is correct for thise role.

  • This guy actually dosnt know very much

  • I mean, come on, where is the react to Csgo weapons?

  • Wait a firearms expert.... from the UK.... AAAAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHH

  • 50cal Assault Rifle, aka Saiga Shotgun.

  • How much do I really want Jonathan Ferguson around for dinner!

  • There are oil filter suppressors that completely silence a handgun.

  • I know there won't be much to go off of but I think it'd be really cool if he did Halo weapons could you also maybe do the GTA series edit: maybe like for example how plausible the Halo weapons could be and for GTA maybe how plausible would it be for a crazy crime Lord/psychopath will get his hands on certain weapons

  • This guy was a bot in the game play lol

  • i like a potatoe lol u know boil'm, mash'm, stick'm in a stew... POTATOES
